Club for charitable purposes are held in the Foundation of the Rotary Club
of White Plains ("Foundation"), and disbursed when authorized by
the Trustees under direction of the Board.

Description of the
The Foundation is a
tax-exempt charitable trust, officially known as "The Foundation of the
Rotary Club of White Plains, New York."
It consists of three
separate trust funds, referred to as "Fund A," "Fund B," and "Fund
Fund A consists of
funds that have been and are designated for the establishment of
scholarships to aid and assist in the further education of worthy graduates
of three secondary schools in White Plains. The income from this fund is disbursed each year in accordance with the
recommendations of the Scholarship committee, as approved by the Board of Directors. Fund A
is also referred to as the "Scholarship Fund."
Fund B consists of
funds collected and disbursed for general charitable purposes in accordance
with the recommendations of the Service Projects committees as approved by
the Board of Directors.
Fund C is an endowment fund whose income and investment earnings help fund
the charitable donations and eligible community projects approved by the
board of Directors.
In accordance with
the Trust Agreement, as amended, the trust funds in the Foundation are
received and disbursed by a Board of Trustees.
