June 24, 2008:
David Schribman Receives Highest Rotary Service Award

RI's "Four Avenues of Service" Citation

Purpose

Recognizing that the strength of the Rotary ideal is founded on the service carried out by club members worldwide, this citation provides a means for Rotary clubs to personally recognize a single member of the club for outstanding efforts in the four Avenues of Service.

The citation commends the service carried out by an individual Rotarian in the club, thereby reinforcing the importance which Rotary places on the personal involvement of each club member in Rotary service activities.

Awarded By

Nominations for this award are sent directly to Rotary International. This is not a District 7230 award. This is a citation signed by the R.I., President, Wilf Wilkinson.

Eligibility

The nominee must have consistently demonstrated support of the Object of Rotary through participation in service activities in each of the four Avenues of Service: Club, Vocational, Community, and International.

  • An individual may only receive this award once.
  • The nominee must be an active Rotarian in good standing.
  • Rotarians who are ineligible:
  1. current club presidents
  2. current, incoming, and immediate past district governors
  3. current, incoming, and past RI directors
  • Only one nominee is eligible per club per Rotary year.

Recipient

I am proud to recognize a member of our club for his extraordinary service year after year, and this year not only for his continued yeoman service, but his participation in all 4 Avenues of Service. A truly committed Rotarian, David Schribman is the recipient of this Four Avenues of Service Citation. Please join me in honoring David with this Citation.
